AboutWhile I've practiced yoga for many years, it wasn't until 2014 that I yearned to deepen my practice. Later that year, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training through Yandara Yoga Institute which was a life-changing experience. Currently registered with Yoga Alliance (200 RYT), my experience includes volunteer work at The U.S. Science & Engineering Festival and gentle yoga classes at Homewood Senior Center in Frederick, MD. I am also a certified Reiki Practitioner (Level II) and incorporate Reiki in my yoga sessions. During 2021, I plan to complete additional yoga training and work with survivors of domestic abuse. I've witnessed how a regular yoga practice can help heal emotional wounds, ease physical pain and promote overall well-being; and, want to help others realize similar benefits.

Private and small group sessions are offered, by appointment only. Each class is inspiring, and safe, creating a relaxing, and positive experience. My teaching style is spiritual in nature and combines gentle poses with breath work (i.e. pranayama). Body awareness is also heavily emphasized. Never tried yoga? Want to practice yoga but not into the whole "scene?" No need to be flexible; just the willingness to allow more relaxation and peace into your life are necessary. Fancy yoga clothes are not. All levels are welcomed, including beginners.
